- Pay them for their work - if they are starving, they don't work nearly
as well
- Be honest and provide all information the lawyer needs to know to work
for you, including and especially any information that might make you look
bad or that the other side is likely to bring up. Going to the doctor for
a broken leg, you don't lie to them and say your shoulder is the only thing
that hurts and you don't leave out that dirt may have gotten in the wound.
Tell your lawyer the truth.
